Welcome to Hill Park School

On behalf of the staff and Governors I would like to welcome you to Hill Park School.  I hope that our website gives you an overview of what we can offer your child in terms of growing as a learner and an individual.

We are very proud of our school which places outstanding learning for our pupils as our priority and vision. However learning for us is not solely academic knowledge and skills, but also managing behaviour, emotions, social skills and personal independence.

We meet the learning needs of a wide range of pupils from those with profound learning difficulties and physical disabilities to pupils with moderate learning disabilities who gain Entry Level Qualifications in their Secondary years.

We achieve this through organising the pupils into classes with differing and specialist learning environments that meet the learning and physical needs of the pupils.  Pupils benefit from a range of individualised and differentiated learning targets for your child which enables all pupils to make the maximum progress with their learning.

We view a place for your child as a place for the family and supporting all of you is also hugely important to us. We do this through offering support with behaviour, toileting, sleep and communication in collaboration with therapists and the School Nurse. We aim to always be approachable, sensitive and non-judgemental.

Our school is welcoming, purposeful and friendly with a family atmosphere appreciated by our families and visitors.

We all take very seriously the trust you place in us when you send your child to Hill Park, and we work hard to be a reflective, aspirational team with a sense of humour and passion for excellence every day.

We are proud to welcome visitors, so whether you are a prospective parent, employee or are interested in another professional capacity, please get in touch.
